"They're Made Out of Meat"

You've GOT TO READ this short story.

Back in 2002, I was substituting for an English class in Palmer, Alaska, with nothing to do but flip idly through the textbook. The students were busy "silently" reading to themselves, so I decided to join them. An English classroom, one would presume, would offer something more enticing to read than a textbook, but no such luck. In that clod-hopper tome, however, I found a little four page short story that has got to be one of the more entertaining reads of my life.

Well, nearly six years later, I found it again! I've looked for years for this gem of hilarity, but--not recalling the author or title, just that it has something to do with aliens discussing their new discovery (humans)--without success.

It's just good times. Trust me.
