I told the smirking Costco employee that I took my nieces to the movie this past weekend (true) and that they were wishing they had the music (also true), but left out that I would be keeping the CD for my own pleasure. In fact, if I really just wanted to make sure they got it, I could have just suggested the purchase to their parents, or even challenged them to some character-building spending of their own money.
Sigh.
Good tunes, though.
